Delete your PetPaw account

You can delete your PetPaw account and everything stored under it at any time — either from inside the app, or by sending us an email. You do not need to install the app to request deletion.
Deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your pet profiles, health history, reminders and chat history cannot be recovered — not by you and not by us. If you want a copy of your data first, email us before you delete.
1. How to request deletion
Delete from inside PetPaw
- Open the PetPaw app and sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings → Owner Profile.
- Scroll to the Account section and tap “Delete account and data”.
- Confirm with “Delete forever”.
The app erases all PetPaw data stored on the phone straight away and sends the erase request to our servers at the same time.
Ask us to delete it for you
Send an email to ceo@ptrs.ltd with the subject “Account deletion request”, from the email address you use to sign in to PetPaw.
Please include:
- the email address of the PetPaw account to delete;
- the pet name(s) in the account, if you remember them — it helps us match the record;
- the serial number of your PetPaw camera, if you have one.
If you write from a different address, we will ask you to confirm from the account address before we delete anything. This is deliberate: it stops anyone else from deleting your data.
2. What gets deleted
Both routes delete the same things — the account itself and every piece of personal data attached to it, on your device and on our servers:

Live video and two-way audio are never recorded, so there is nothing to delete there.
3. What we keep, and for how long
We keep only what we are legally required to keep, or what is needed to protect the service itself:

We do not keep a shadow copy of your pet, health or chat data for any other purpose. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
4. How long it takes
- In the app: data on the phone is gone the moment you confirm. The server-side erase is triggered at the same time; allow up to 24 hours for it to propagate across all our systems.
- By email: we acknowledge your request within 5 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days at the latest.
- Backups: purged within 30 days in both cases.
5. Before you delete
- Cancel your subscription separately. If you have an active PetPaw Premium (AI assistant) subscription bought through Google Play, deleting your PetPaw account does not cancel it and does not issue a refund. Cancel it in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Want your data first? Email ceo@ptrs.ltd and ask for an export before you delete. Once the account is gone we cannot produce one.
- Your camera keeps working as hardware. Deleting your account unlinks any PetPaw device from you; the device itself is not bricked and can be paired to a new account.
- Shared access. If you invited someone else to view your camera, that access ends with your account.
